Berger/ABAM Engineers
Jake Lewing joined Berger/ABAM Engineers as a civil engineer at the Seattle office. Lewing has worked on transportation-related systems, such as roadway design, drainage and utilities design and construction support. He is currently working on Berger/ABAM’s Interstate 5/State Route 161/State Route 18 triangle improvements project near Federal Way.
Kaiyuan Liu has joined the firm’s headquarters office in Federal Way. Liu has a background in structural analysis and detail structural design for bridge structures and other civil engineering structures. His experience includes serving as a construction risk evaluation engineer for an insurance company and as a design engineer for a number of bridge projects in China.
Santiago Aguilar has also joined the Federal Way office. Aguilar has field work experience ranging from geometric design and drafting for road construction, as well as surveying and stakeout. His background also includes construction materials testing, nuclear density testing and geotechnical consulting.
Mathew O’Connor joined the office and is a recent civil engineering graduate from Saint Martin’s University.
