Tacoma-based BLRB Architects recently promoted the following staff members to leadership roles: Liz Chambers, associate, marketing director; Doug Jason, associate; Jim Kuhlman, associate; Kay Munson, senior associate; and Dave Pool, senior associate. Chambers has more than seven years of experience in architecture marketing. In addition to leading BLRB's marketing team, Chambers serves on the Landmarks Preservation Commission in Tacoma. Jason has been with BLRB for 18 years, providing construction administration services for education projects. He is working on the Mount Rainier High School replacement for Highline School District and several roofing projects for the University Place School District. Kuhlman joined BLRB in 1990 and brings more than 24 years of experience to his roles as project architect and construction administrator. He recently completed the Capital High School addition/modernization project for Olympia School District and has begun work on the Curtis Junior High School replacement for University Place School District. Munson has worked at BLRB for nearly 23 years. She leads human resources efforts, payroll and a variety of project management and contractual tasks. Pool joined BLRB in January 2005 as a project architect. He has worked on the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center and the renovation and addition of Tacoma's Stadium High School and is working on Bellevue School District's Newport Height Elementary School and the Pacific Plaza project in downtown Tacoma.
