Fletcher Farr designs interpretive center

The city of Enumclaw has hired Portland-based Fletcher Farr Ayotte to design an interpretive center at the western portal of the Chinook Scenic Byway.

The center will give tourists information about the Enumclaw Plateau, the Snoqualmie-Baker National Forest and Mount Rainier National Park. It will also house staff from the National Park Service, USDA Forest Service and the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce.

The Fletcher Farr Ayotte team includes Hal Ayotte, Barbara Clement and Richard Grace. The mechanical/electrical engineer is Mazzetti & Associates, structural engineer is KPFF and the landscape architect is GreenWorks PC. The project is scheduled to be complete in December 2008.
