The city of Kenmore has selected Otak to update its stormwater management plan. The work is in response to upcoming stormwater requirements from the Washington State Department of Ecology. Otak will complete the update in the next year.
The plan will address current and future drainage problems, while preparing the city to comply with the new NPDES II Permit issued in late January by Ecology.
Otak’s work will include an updated capital improvement program, a regulatory gap analysis, provisions to adopt the new King County SWM design manual, an annualized funding and implementation plan for the next five years, and an analysis of future staffing, equipment and costs.
