Interface Engineering in Portland made new hires to the Lighting Design Studio and announced that Deborah Raines won two awards. Raines, a senior lighting designer, won awards from the Northwest Region of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America for her work on LEED registered Pacific University New Student Housing in Forest Grove, Ore., and for the Estacada City Library in Estacada, Ore. Michael Larsen is a new senior lighting designer. Larsen has 10 years of experience as a lighting designer and is working on the Laika, Inc., animation studio design. Sarah Donald is a new designer working on the Spirit Mountain Casino Expansion in Grand Ronde, Ore.
