Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects hired two LEED-certified experts, Gladys Ly-Au Young and Chris Flint Chatto, to work in its Seattle office. Young worked at Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects in Seattle for 12 years on projects including a School of Law at Seattle University, the Frye Art Museum and the Mission Hill Family Estate Winery in British Columbia. Chatto worked at Weber + Thompson Architects where he chaired the LEED energy and mechanical team. He also worked at the Energy Studies in Buildings Laboratory at the University of Oregon and founded the Coalition for Sustainable Transportation in Santa Barbara, an organization advocating for alternative transportation.
