Murray, Smith & Associates
David Leibbrandt was named president of Murray, Smith & Associates. Leibbrandt joined the firm in 1985, and has served as senior vice president since 1996. He has overseen water, wastewater, stormwater and transportation projects for municipalities and public agencies and has worked on international professional exchanges focused on public drinking water systems. Leibbrandt replaces firm co-founder Philip Smith, who served as president since 1996. The firm also promoted
Thomas Lindberg to shareholder and associate. Lindberg, previously president of Flowater Engineering, is a water system engineering specialist and has served municipal clients in Washington for the past 19 years. Lindberg joined the firm in 2006, assuming project management and strategic business responsibilities for its Northwest Washington service area.
