Tetra Tech hired 10 new employees. Tom Bumstead is a fisheries engineer with more than 25 years of experience. Bumstead is working on stream restoration for the Big Gulch sewer replacement in Mukilteo, designing Chief Joseph Hatchery’s fish ladder near Bridgeport and intake screens for the acclimation ponds near Riverside and Omak. Russell Mau has more than 15 years of experience and is working on performance evaluation of the Elliott West CSO Facility and evaluation of a CSO bar screen facility in Des Moines, Iowa. Victoria Bruder is assisting Tetra Tech’s Electrical and Controls Group with CADD production. Brad Frayo joins Tetra Tech’s controls group, working on Lake Whatcom telemetry upgrades and lift station start ups, Alderwood Water District telemetry upgrades and design projects for King County. Agnes Ho has worked as a civil engineer on a range of projects, including drainage and civil design for light rail, stormwater comprehensive plans, mine site restoration, and watershed protection measures. She is working on Bellevue’s Lake Sammamish culvert repairs system analysis and the Coal Creek bank stabilization and water quality monitoring programs. Joan Montgomery has 16 years of experience in civil engineering. She is providing site civil engineering for the Operations Building and Transit Police Facilities of King County Metro’s Atlantic/Central Base Expansion program. Barbara O’Hara Pilkington is project assistant for the structural and mechanical programs. Kathy Thompson is an IT administrator with responsibility for hardware/software support for eight Tetra Tech offices in four states. Travis Yi, with 10 years experience in IT services, is responsible for network and server administration, advanced software support, hardware and software procurement and the help desk. Sara Wrenn is applying her physical science background to watershed management projects and providing GIS assistance. She is working on the Tolt River Watershed Management Plan for Seattle Public Utilities and on the Crescent City-Del Norte County, Calif., hazard mitigation plan.
