WHPacific's Olympia office recently hired or promoted six employees. Michael Pawlak is the new operations manager. His primary focus is management of office resources and he has more than 30 years of transportation engineering and planning experience. Pawlak's addition makes way for former operations manager Susan Rants to move to director of land development, where she will support the firm's business development goals. Li Malikasim, a structural engineer with 26 years of experience, transferred from the Portland office. Bryan Ewing, Doug Beagle and Julia Hanson joined the transportation group. Ewing and Beagle each have more than 20 years of experience and provide construction management services. Hanson is a professional engineer-in-training with two years of experience. Jimmie McKenzie and John Bentley joined the survey group. McKenzie has more than 20 years of experience in both the office and field, and Bentley is a professional land surveyor with nearly 30 years of experience.
