The Berger Partnership hired Matt Martenson and David Minnery as landscape architecture design staff, and Jason Hirst as its summer intern. Martenson interned at The Berger Partnership last summer, researching water management strategies (the final report received a WASLA Merit Award in 2007). He is working on the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts and Richmond Highlands Park for Shoreline Parks and Recreation. Minnery has more than 15 years of experience as an artist and educator. Minnery is working on the Westpark Redevelopment project in Bremerton, the Washington Park Arboretum East Entry and several residential projects. Hirst is researching and will prepare a final report on Seattle's Green Factor.
