von Bargen
Michael Willis Architects promoted Jean von Bargen and Bradley Bane to associates in its Portland office. Von Bargen leads the office in setting sustainability standards and has 10 years of experience in planning and design of affordable housing, mixed-use, commercial and industrial projects. She recently completed the 65-unit mixed-use building at Humboldt Gardens and is working on an interstate maintenance facility for the Portland Water Bureau. Bargen is also an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Oregon. Bane has 13 years of experience and has focused on multi-family residential projects at Michael Willis. Bane is working on the Housing Authority of Portland's Hillsdale Terrace and Olympia Crest Phase II, a 24-unit affordable housing project for the Housing Authority of Thurston County.
