Farallon Consulting promoted Senior Project Manager Jeffrey Kaspar and Senior Environmental Scientist Amy Essig Desai to partners. They will contribute to corporate decision-making while continuing to serve as project managers. A licensed geologist and hydrogeologist and the manager of Farallon’s Geology/Hydrogeology Group, Kaspar serves as senior project manager and technical lead for environmental investigations, remediation, site hazard assessments, and insurance evaluations. He has 19 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry, and developed the Northwest Environmental Training Center’s course on natural attenuation of petroleum hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents. Essig Desai heads Farallon’s Environmental Sciences Group. She has 11 years of experience in environmental due diligence, environmental investigations, site cleanups, and environmental compliance audits. Farallon Consulting also hired Brett T. Carp to its Environmental Sciences Group in Issaquah. Carp is a certified associate ecologist and has seven years of environmental science experience.
