Coffman Engineers hired Melissa White and Bill Williams as structural engineers in the Seattle office. White has three years of experience in structural engineering, working mostly on existing buildings. Her experience includes forensic investigation, repair design and construction administration of the Highwood Ridge condominium complex and Walden Park condominium complex, construction administration on the Autumn Grove condos, forensic investigation of the Ashford Park, Highlands at Issaquah Ridge, Seasons at Madrona Park and a Tier 1 analysis of the Desimone Bridge in the Pike Place Market. Williams has five years of experience with steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures. He has worked with deep gravity and retaining foundations on difficult geology, and public school design under the jurisdiction of the Department of the State Architect. His past projects include City Plaza in Escondido, Calif., and schools in La Canada, Calif.
