The Seattle Department of Transportation is redesigning the Street Improvement Permitting process, hoping to cut the cost and time frames, increase predictability and improve customer satisfaction. Effective April 27, applicants must schedule a SIP intake appointment when applying for acceptance of 90-percent-complete street improvement plans for circulation and review.
Workshops will be conducted to help applicants and stakeholders prepare for the new intake process and plan requirements. Workshops will be held: from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 30, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1. To reserve a seat at one of the workshops call (206) 733-9876 or email Jamie.Holland@Seattle.gov.
