Which projects are really shovel ready?

The Society for Marketing Professional Services’ Seattle chapter is holding a lunch-hour panel discussion with representatives of agencies responsible for distributing the money in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

The panel will explain the process and answer questions about how the money will filter down to projects here. Panelists include Steve Carley of the Washington State Department of Ecology, Kristin Bettridge of the Washington State Department of Health, representatives from WSDOT and CTED, and Mike Ryan of Integrated Marketing Systems, a lead generation company with a national perspective on what other states are doing to administer funds.

The panel will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24 at the Washington Athletic Club at 1325 Sixth Ave. Tickets are $40 for members, $45 for member firms and $55 for non-members. Register and learn more at http://www.smpsseattle.org
