Sustainability event at ACEC conference

Bill Wallace of Wallace Futures Group will guide a workshop on “The Business of Sustainability” at the ACEC Washington Spring Conference from May 14 to 16 at Suncadia Resort near Cle Elum. Attendees will learn how sustainable development principles can help provide business opportunities for engineering firms.

The discussion will include case studies, tools, techniques and resources. Wallace is author of the book “Becoming Part of the Solution: The Engineer’s Guide to Sustainable Development.” He serves on several national and international professional society committees, leads the preparation of policies and guidance, and consults public and private organizations on applying sustainability principles to their operations.
