Callison forms workplace group

Seattle-based Callison has created a new practice, the TI Solutions Group, to manage small- to mid-scale commercial interiors for clients ranging from Ben Bridge Jewelers to Boeing.

The goal is to help clients save money by consolidating. For example, Scripps’ New York office was renovated to make workspaces more flexible, which allowed 26 percent more employees per floor.

The group provides designs that “flex with the short and long-term needs” of clients and results in faster approval times, Callison Principal Chris Hamilton said.

The new practice is led by Ali Khatibi, IIDA, and Karen Campbell.
