Landau Associates promoted Dennis Stettler to the newly created post of director of engineering, Erfan Nezami to project engineer and Brett Borgeson to senior staff scientist. Stettler was hired in 1989. He has 30 years of geotechnical engineering experience. He is responsible for geotechnical analysis and engineering design of a number of transportation, infrastructure, and site development projects in the Pacific Northwest. Nezami has been a geotechnical engineer in the Edmonds office since 2007. He has performed engineering analysis and design of deep foundation, retaining walls, lateral earth pressures, and static and seismic stability. He is working on the WSDOT SR520 pontoon construction. Borgeson joined the Portland office in 2006. He has done site assessments, groundwater monitoring, soil and sediment investigations, and remediation system construction. He is working on the Port of Newport sediment sampling/investigation. Landau provides environmental and geotechnical engineering and natural resource services in six Pacific Northwest offices.
