Local architecture market: Less dismal than last year

Seattle architecture firm Weber Thompson has focused on designing housing and office construction — two markets that tanked during this recession.

But recently it's gotten housing work, including redesigning three stalled downtown Seattle condo towers to apartments, said Managing Principal Kristen Scott, who declined to name the clients.
