Portland-based Dull Olson Weekes Architects promoted
Renee Kroupa, Karina Ruiz and
Amy Friendy to associate principals. Kroupa, an educational facility planner/architect, has been with the firm for 14 years. She is governor of the Oregon/SW Washington Chapter of the Council for Educational Facility Planners International and on the Oregon School Facilities Task Force. Ruiz, a project manager/architect, has been with the firm for seven years. She has nearly 16 years in design and construction of educational facilities, and has led teams on health care projects for Legacy Health System. Friendy, director of operations, has 11 years experience as business manager, accountant, financial analyst, human resources director, strategic planner and project manager. She was project manager on the renovation of the firm's office at The Reserve, which is seeking LEED platinum certification. Dull Olson Weekes provides architectural, planning and interior design services.
