Magnusson Klemencic Associates promoted
Peter Somers to principal and
Robert Baxter and
Brad Cameron to senior associate. Somers is an existing buildings specialist and is managing the University of Washington Bed Tower expansion. He is a member of the earthquake engineering committee of the Structural Engineers Association of Washington. Baxter is a sports specialist and Building Information Modeling specialist. His recent projects include ShoWare Center in Kent and TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota. He is working on the new 49ers Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. Cameron works out of the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, office managing construction reviews for 80 buildings in the King Abdullah Financial District. He is active in the hotel/housing group, and worked on the City Creek Center in Salt Lake City. Seattle-based MKA is an international structural and civil engineering firm.
