BLRB Architects

Grulich
BLRB Architects hired Gene Grulich to lead its historic preservation studio, allowing the firm to do more preservation work, including adaptive reuse. Grulich, a Washington architect for nearly four decades, has managed preservation of historic structures including The Granary at Fort Nisqually in Tacoma, West Point Light Station in Seattle, Alexander's Castle in Port Townsend and the Pantages Theatre in Tacoma. He was the founder and owner of GA+PS, an architecture firm focused on historic restoration and preservation projects, and had consulted for BLBR. He is managing the exterior refurbishment of Tacoma's Municipal Complex. Tacoma-based BLRB provides design services to educational, commercial and public clients.
