Landau Associates made promotions in its Edmonds office. They are Gary Huitsing to senior project engineer, Piper Roelen to associate, Steven Quarterman to senior ecologist, Jessica Kelley to project fisheries biologist and Rosemary Trimmer to staff environmental specialist. In Tacoma, Landau promoted Jessica Stone to project scientist. Huitsing is an environmental engineer with 10 years of experience in air permitting, mobile air quality, noise measurement, modeling and analysis, stormwater permitting and vapor intrusion projects. Roelen has 15 years of experience in site assessments, remedial investigations and designs, cleanup actions, and feasibility and treatability studies. Quarterman has a background in wetland delineation/mitigation, environmental regulations, and acquisition of state and federal environmental permits and approvals. Kelley has more than eight years of experience in fish and habitat surveys, threatened and endangered species evaluation, stream classification and buffer designation, wetland delineation, and fish removal methods. Trimmer has experience in stormwater sampling, industrial and construction stormwater compliance and documentation, grant writing and administration, environmental site assessment, due diligence investigations, SEPA documentation, and air quality permitting. Stone has a background in environmental site investigations and permitting, wetland and sensitive area delineation, stormwater, groundwater, and soil sampling, and construction monitoring. Landau provides environmental and geotechnical engineering and natural resource services from offices in Edmonds, Seattle, Tacoma, Spokane, West Richland and Portland.
