Dan Jankelson has been named president and CEO of Transpac Marinas in Anacortes. Since joining the company in 1989, he has led manufacturing and construction activities, and is responsible for design and manufacture of flotation systems. As chief operating officer for the past 10 years, he managed production for boat harbor projects in Alaska and the Northwest. Recent Alaska projects include the commercial vessel moorage float systems for King Cove and St. Herman Harbor. Outgoing president Dave Rytand will remain active in the business, focusing on sales and developing new products. Transpac designs and manufactures marine flotation and wave attenuation systems.
