David Evans and Associates
David Evans, founder of David Evans and Associates, will retire as chairman of the board of directors of DEA's parent company, David Evans Enterprises, Inc., effective March 14. Evans will continue to serve as chairman emeritus.
Ken Wightman will succeed Evans as chairman. Wightman is a 27-year veteran of the firm and is CEO of DEEI. Evans opened David Evans and Associates in 1976 in Portland. It has grown to 17 offices in seven states, with four offices in Washington: Bellevue, Everett, Spokane, and Tacoma. The staff includes engineers, surveyors, hydrographers, planners, landscape architects and natural resources scientists.
