Landau Associates hired James Farrow as Portland office manager and senior associate hydrogeologist, Don Malkemus as a staff geologist and Noah Nequette as a lab/field technician. It promoted Dana Olcott to senior project engineer, Toni Smith to senior staff hydrogeologist, Juliann Cooley to project coordinator and Jacob Neal to senior project scientist. Theresa Turpin, an associate environmental planner, recently became a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. Farrow has 20 years of environmental experience including site investigation, audits, negotiations, water resource assessment/development, and renewable energy facilities. Malkemus' experience includes soil and groundwater investigations and site assessments. Nequette is working in the geotechnical laboratory and providing field work assistance. Olcott has 10 years of experience in geotechnical investigations, foundation and earthwork design, and construction monitoring. Smith specializes in hydrologic and geologic data. Cooley is responsible for technical editing. Neal was has 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, including site assessments, excavation management, spill response, stormwater permitting and erosion contro. Landau Associates provides geotechnical and environmental engineering and natural resource consulting.
