Matt Aalfs and Sarah Shults are now principals with Weinstein A|U Architect + Urban Designers in Seattle. Aalfs led design of the Kenmore Library and the Seattle Public Library Montlake Branch. He was the project lead for the Sherwood Athletic Center at Whitman College in Walla Walla, and has worked with nonprofits, including the Low Income Housing Institute. He is co-chair of the AIA Seattle Diversity Roundtable and has been an instructor and a lecturer at the UW Department of Architecture. Shults has been controller and business manager since 2000. She has experience in office management, from financials to human resources and infrastructure. She is a member of the Society for Design Administration.
