Elliott Bay Design Group hired marine engineers Zach McKinney and Jeremy Rice, and summer interns Tom Cusumano and Eileen Tausch in its Seattle office. EBDG promoted Mike Complita to vice president of shipyard services, and he and Curt Leffers with the firm earned the project management professional designation. McKinney has experience with barges, ferries, military and fishing vessels, and workboats, and a background in detail design and specialty projects. Rice has 18 years of experience in the maritime industry. He has a background in engineering and design for deck barges, OSVs, tugs, research and passenger vessels, and engineering support for retail barge design and LNG concept design. Cusumano is pursuing a bachelor's in naval architecture at the University of New Orleans. Tausch graduated with a bachelor's in naval architecture from the University of Michigan. The firm provides naval architecture, marine engineering and production support services, with offices in Seattle and New Orleans.
