SvR Design Co. appointed Kathryn (Kathy) Gwilym and Nate Cormier as principals, and Steve Burke, Greg Giraldo, Amalia Leighton and Mark Davies as directors. Gwilym has been with SvR for more than 16 years and is the technical lead. She led engineering on High Point's green stormwater infrastructure and is working on Barton Basin in West Seattle. Cormier led design for Bell Street Park — now under construction in Seattle — and is leading the public areas and infrastructure design for Yesler Terrace. Seattle-based SvR offers civil engineering, landscape architecture, planning and environmental restoration services.
