Reid Middleton hired Mike Yeoman as survey director and Katie Maurer and Kenneth O'Neill, each as Designer 1, in the Everett office. It also hired Jason Kwiatkowski as a Designer 1 in Anchorage, and Kevin Galvez as an intern and Woo sung Chang as a senior CAD technician in Honolulu. The company also promoted Erik Bishop to project engineer in Everett. Yeoman, a surveyor, has more than 30 years of experience managing public and private projects in the Northwest. He was survey manager at Perteet. Maurer interned at Gewalt-Hamilton Associates in Illinois. She is providing design support on roundabouts, including the Lakemont/Cougar Mountain roundabout in Bellevue. O'Neill previously worked for HNTB in Texas and KPFF in Seattle. He is providing structural design support on several Navy projects, including hangar expansions at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. Kwiatkowski holds a master's in structural engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He is providing technical support on structural projects, including the Alaska Laborers Trust Building. Galvez holds a bachelor's in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and is pursuing a master's in civil engineering there. He supports design on Navy, Army and state of Hawaii transportation projects. Chang recently worked for Wilson Okamoto. He provides technical support on Navy, Army, and Hawaii transportation projects. Bishop has worked on education, civic and private projects, with an emphasis on public facilities and earthquake engineering. He is working on Birchwood Elementary School in Bellingham.
