Eight projects were winners in the INawards 2013 competition sponsored by the International Interior Design Association's Northern Pacific chapter.
A total of 54 projects were submitted by interior designers, architects and industrial designers from Alaska, Idaho, Washington, Alberta and British Columbia.
In addition to awards for projects, Dru Jordan, architectural and design manager at BiNW, won an industry member honor award. Helen Brown, senior program manager at Teague, won a design professional honor award.
In the student category, Lena Giang of Washington State University won best junior award, Nesta So of Bellevue College won best senior award, and Mieko Eyler of Bellevue College received an honorable mention.
The jurors were Andee Hess, owner of Osmose Design; Gary Lee, president of Gary Lee Partners; and Dawn Clark, vice president of store design for Nordstrom.
This is the 10th year for the awards.
