The new headquarters for Pro Sales Inc. opened in early 2014 at 917 Valley Ave. N.W. in Puyallup.
Urbanadd Architecture + Design was the architect and BPCI Construction was the contractor.
Pro Sales provides engineering and fabrication of stainless steel components for the dairy, brewery and food-service industries.
Urbanadd said in a press release that Pro Sales had outgrown its previous facility in Auburn. It needed a new headquarters to further integrate engineering teams with manufacturing staff through LEAN manufacturing principles.
A tilt-up warehouse building was renovated to create the new one-story 24,650-square-foot headquarters with a partial second floor mezzanine.
It has offices for the sales and engineering departments, a research and development laboratory, teleconferencing facilities linked to the company's Idaho facility, and a 12,000-square-foot manufacturing floor with integrated RFID component tracking.
The headquarters also has a gym and an indoor practice driving range for Pro Sales' staff and clients.
