Tacoma-based McGranahan Architects promoted Mitchell Kent to principal and Matthew Bissen to director of design and research. Kent has 20 years of experience with educational facilities and is senior project manager on Olympic Hills Elementary School. Bissen has design experience and has worked as a university adjunct faculty member and an urban geographer. He is working on the Science and Math Institute in Tacoma. McGranahan designs K-12 and higher education projects.
