In Edmonds, Landau Associates hired Jim Hearsey as a staff biologist and Patti Segulja-Lau as a project environmental specialist, and promoted Dylan Frazer to senior project geologist and Jon Polka to senior staff engineer-in-training. In Tacoma, it promoted Katie Gauglitz to staff geologist-in-training and Nick Dosch to senior staff EIT. It promoted Shane Kostka to staff GIT in Spokane and James Raspen to project engineer in Portland. Hearsey has six years of experience in fisheries, wetlands and biological assessments. He does natural resources permitting support. Segulja-Lau works on the industrial stormwater and boatyard permit compliance team. She has 26 years of boatyard experience. Frazer has eight years of experience in environmental remediation and geotechnical engineering, and will manage remedial investigations and cleanups. Polka has a year of experience in stormwater permitting and groundwater remediation, and is doing environmental sampling, data collection, design and construction oversight. Gauglitz has six months of experience in groundwater sampling and chemistry, soil sampling, drilling oversight and construction quality assurance. Dosch has a year of experience in water resources and environmental engineering, with a focus on groundwater remediation and stormwater management. Kostka has a year of experience in environmental remediation and is responsible for compliance monitoring, operations and maintenance of groundwater treatment systems. Raspen has four years of experience in groundwater sampling and remediation, stormwater permitting and compliance. He will work on stormwater and groundwater treatment projects. Edmonds-based Landau Associates provides geotechnical and environmental engineering, remediation, permitting and compliance services.
