Mayo

Mahlum promoted Joseph Mayo and Karen Wood to associate. Mayo was hired in 2008 and focuses on education, student housing and health care projects. His work includes West Campus Housing Phase I at the University of Washington and Muckleshoot Indian Tribe's smokehouse. In 2015, he published “Solid Wood: Case Studies on Mass Timber Architecture, Technology & Design.” Wood has over 10 years with Mahlum, and has worked on education projects, including Arlington Elementary School and a high school for Issaquah School District.
