Landau Associates promoted Sean Gertz to senior staff EIT, Evelyn Ives to senior project engineer and Allison Bergseng to senior engineer in Edmonds, Jennifer Wynkoop to principal in Tacoma, Daniel Simpson to senior engineer in Olympia, Shane Kostka to senior staff GIT in Spokane and James Raspen to senior project engineer in Portland. Gertz provides geotechnical and construction monitoring, and has experience in geotechnical exploration, settlement design, landslide analysis and retaining walls. Ives has five years of environmental consulting experience focused on toxic cleanups. Bergseng supports environmental and civil engineering projects, and specializes in stormwater and wastewater conveyance and treatment and NPDES permitting. Wynkoop, a senior project manager, leads the vapor intrusion and indoor air assessment practice. She has a background in environmental assessment and remediation, natural resources, and environmental permitting and manages the firm's largest project — a contaminated groundwater investigation and cleanup in the Seattle area. Simpson does geotechnical field investigations, provides design and seismic response analysis of geotechnical structures, and tests geo-materials. Kostka provides field support for environmental site investigations, operates and maintains treatment systems, and monitors groundwater, surface water, soil and soil vapor. Raspen prepares regulatory compliance and engineering documents and has managed stormwater permit compliance for facilities. Edmonds-based Landau provides geotechnical and environmental engineering, environmental site management, and permitting and compliance services.
