Holland Partner Group and Nash Investments have opened Kiara Seattle, a 41-story apartment tower at Denny Way and Terry Avenue in South Lake Union.

Weber Thompson is the architect, and Holland Partner Group is the developer and contractor. Cary Kopczynski & Co. is the structural engineer. Susan Marinello designed the interiors. Landscape design was by Weber Thompson Landscape Architecture Studio.

Kiara Seattle has 461 units set on a seven-level podium, with six levels of below-grade parking. Apartments include studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units with high-end finishes, as well as air conditioning, NEST thermostats, motorized window shades, and full-size washers and dryers.

There are two rooftop decks: one on the podium with an outdoor pavilion, and the other at Level 41 with dining areas, lounge seating, and indoor sky lounge.

“The Park” on the podium has plants, pathways, secluded seating areas, BBQ stations and fire pits — connects to The Pavilion, an entertainment space with a roll-up door.

The first floor has a lobby, as well as conference rooms, a dog lounge with wash station, package lockers, and fast elevators.

Tenants will share a fitness center, group studio and flex fitness space.

About 16,250 square feet of retail space is on the ground floor.

The team is targeting LEED silver.
