TACOMA — Randy Gould, an architect in the Tacoma office of BCRA, died Jan. 12 at age 54, the firm said.
In a statement, BCRA said Gould was one of the most creative thinkers in the local design community and a trusted friend and colleague.
His career spanned over 30 years, eight with BCRA. He was lead designer for multifamily projects and also worked in other market sectors. He held a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Washington.
Gould also mentored young designers.
Gould is survived by his wife, Julia, and daughters Lucy and Sophie.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Jan. 20 at University Place Presbyterian Church, 8101 27th St. W., in University Place.
