Seattle-based Magnusson Klemencic Associates promoted Ben Klingenstein, Ben Niesen, Kevin Solberg and David Tayabji to senior associate. Klingenstein is focused on the design of mid-rise and high-rise office projects, long-span structures, and pedestrian bridges in the U.S., and is involved with MKA's steel technical specialty teams. He is working on Oyster Point in San Francisco and Block 18 in Seattle. Niesen does civil design of landscape oriented and mixed-use projects. He has designed improvements for roadway, bicycle and pedestrian ways, stormwater facilities, parks and open spaces. He is working on the Missouri Riverfront Revitalization in Omaha, Nebraska, and S Campus in Seattle. Solberg is focused on the design of health care projects and is on MKA's earthquake, existing buildings and masonry technical specialist teams. He is working on Overlake Hospital Medical Center FutureCare in Bellevue and Oregon Health & Science University Marquam Hill Medical Tower in Portland. Tayabji is focused on the design of office developments and corporate headquarters and campuses, and is on the steel technical specialist team. He is working on Union Station Office Building in Chicago and Dominion Workplace Project in Richmond, Virginia. MKA provides structural and civil engineering services worldwide.
