In Portland, Ankrom Moisan Architects promoted Alissa Brandt, Mariah Kiersey and Ryan Miyahira to managing principal, Bethanne Mikkelson to managing principal of the Portland workplace team, Leah Wheary to managing design principal, Michael Bonn to principal and Will Grimm to design principal. Brandt has over 20 years of industry experience, and for the past six has created senior environments. She has a background in health care, multifamily housing and hospitality and incorporates elements of those markets in her senior living design. Kiersey is an architect and interior designer who is project manager for Central City Concern's Blackburn Center. Miyahira has been with the firm for almost 20 years. He has experience with mixed-use, senior and market-rate housing. Mikkelson is an interior designer with more than 12 years of experience on commercial tenant improvement, health care and multifamily projects. Wheary was hired 15 years ago and is the go-to person for high profile interior design projects. She is working on residential developments in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Bonn has been with the firm for 20 years. His career has included resort work to summer camps to affordable housing, among them Young Life's Washington Family Ranch, home for two central Oregon camps for middle- and high-schoolers. Grimm has concentrated on community design and planning. He is working on an affordable housing community for Tacoma Housing Authority in Tacoma. Ankrom Moisan provides architecture, interior design, urban design and brand design.
