In Seattle, NAC Architecture promoted Cheryl Jacobs to associate principal, Sarah Finis and Julia Wrigley to senior associate, and Jason Bentley, Melia Blankenship, Bingram Lai, Garrett Nelli, Jose Rios and Emily Spillar to associate. Jacobs is an architect whose work has ranged from health care facilities to learning environments, and who is now working on The Evergreen State College's new Student Wellness Services Center. Finis is an interior designer for learning environments. She worked on the Student Union for the University of Providence in Great Falls, and is working on its new University Center. Wrigley is NAC's corporate graphic designer. She develops and maintains brand guidelines, creates branded templates for firm-wide collateral and communications pieces, and maintains visual consistency and brand application. Bentley is an architect on the student housing team with a background in mixed-use housing. He recently completed design for phase 1 of Bellevue College's first on-campus student housing, and is working on housing for Colorado School of Mines. Blankenship is an architect who coordinates teams on complex projects. She is working on Snoqualmie Valley School District's 250,000-square-foot Mount Si High School replacement, and a state-wide higher education facilities study for the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. Lai is an architectural designer with over 12 years of experience working with public and educational agencies in the Northwest. He has a background in modernization and historic renovation of occupied facilities, and is working on the adaptive reuse of Pacific Charter School Development's Impact Puget Sound Elementary School. Nelli is an architect working on Seattle Public Schools' new Wing Luke Elementary. He won AIA Seattle's Emerging Professionals Travel Scholarship in 2017 to research public interest design. Rios is an electrical engineer on education and health care facilities. He is working on La Center School District's new middle school, The Evergreen State College Student Wellness Service Center and projects for Western State Hospital. Spillar is an interior designer with a background in early childhood education who works on learning environments. She is working on Puyallup School District's new Dessie Evans Elementary, and Mount Si High.
