    Oakland’s privately funded $130 million gondola system would carry riders between downtown and a station near the A’s ballpark.

    Lacey-based SCJ Alliance is designing a gondola to take people from downtown Oakland, California, to a station near a new ballpark the Oakland Athletics plan at Howard Terminal on the waterfront.
