Kenmore looks at 'missing middle' units

KENMORE — The city of Kenmore will host a free panel discussion on “The Missing Middle — Reconsidering Small Housing Types from the Past” at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at City Hall, 18120 68th Ave. N.E.

According to the event announcement, the “missing middle” includes cottage housing, duplexes, accessory dwelling units and other small housing types that once were common in communities but have all but disappeared in new construction.
