Port to double public art funding to $20M
The agency says it's returning to a 1% for art funding model it followed before the 2008 recession.

“Cathedral” by visual arts duo Jacqueline Metz and Nancy Chew opened in 2019 in the Sea-Tac’s North Satellite expansion. It consists of 20 custom glass panels and one large bronze tree log.
This 350-foot-long earthwork installation by artist Molly Gochman uses red sand to draw attention to immigration and human trafficking. It’s visible from the sky, Link Light Rail and a few locations in the airport.
