Longtime Tacoma architecture firm Jon Graves Architects and Planners has become Graves + Associates in response to the growth of the company and the addition of new services, it said in a press release.
G+A provides architectural services, project viability services, sustainability leadership, interior design, architectural graphics and marketing, construction management, construction administration, project management/owner's representation, and furniture and art procurement.
Co-founded by Jon Graves and Mike Benjamin in 1995 as Graves & Benjamin Architects, the firm now has a staff of 22 architects, designers and planners. It is at 3110 Ruston Way, Suite E.
G+A said it works in 10 commercial and residential markets in the Puget Sound region and at any given time has 60-80 active projects. It is designing Aspire II on 11th and Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Tacoma's Hilltop neighborhood, and recently finished TrueBlue executive offices in the old Weyerhaeuser Corp.'s headquarters in Tacoma.
The firm also changed its logo, which can be seen at its website, https://www.gravesassoc.com/.
