The Seattle waterfront could have had five- and six-story buildings constructed in the footprint of the now-removed Alaskan Way Viaduct if the redevelopment had been approached less like a transportation project.
That's according to Rico L. Quirindongo, a principal with DLR Group, who was one of a number of industry speakers yesterday at a Biznow event on “Seattle Architecture & Design” at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle.
