Bellevue-based Freiheit Architecture promoted Dustin Thorlakson to executive vice president. Thorlakson will continue as a senior project architect while taking on a stronger role in the company's leadership and strategic direction. He was hired in 2012 and has been an integral part of many of its prominent projects including 13 Coins restaurant and Avalara Hawk Tower, both in Seattle's Pioneer Square, and the upcoming Stadium Point Development in Peoria, Arizona. Freiheit Architecture designs commercial architecture focusing on urban mixed-use, office and multifamily.
