Kimball Elementary up for landmark status

Kimball Elementary School on Beacon Hill opened in 1971 and an addition was completed in 1998.

Seattle's Landmarks Preservation Board will consider at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 5 whether to nominate Kimball Elementary School at 3200 23rd Ave. S. in Beacon Hill as a city landmark.
