Architect explores resilient communities

Westport in Grays Harbor County is one of the coastal towns that Robert Hutchison and his team are studying to assess their preparedness for sea-level rise and tsunamis. This image shows the marina district.

Seattle-based architect Robert Hutchison has launched a new conceptual project titled “Dynamic Landscapes” with funding from the Architectural League of New York's American Roundtable Initiative and a Creative Artists Fellowship from the Japan-US Friendship Commission & the National Endowment for the Arts.
