Burke Museum earns LEED Gold, reopens today

The Burke has a collection of over 16 million artifacts and specimens.

The new home of the Burke Museum on the northwestern edge of the University of Washington campus in Seattle has been certified LEED Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council.
